Creative Art Program for Children (Ages 4–10) A developmental program that introduces children to real artistic concepts such as working with color, form, and composition — in a fun and accessible way.

Classes are held in the format of workshops. The teacher demonstrates and explains through play, while children create their own artworks independently. During the class, the teacher provides individual guidance and tips to each student.

Children paint on real easels and large A2 sheets using professional gouache paints. All materials are included in the price and provided by us.

Each class results in a complete artwork created by your child. Our program helps young artists explore advanced artistic ideas such as warm and cool colors, contrast and nuance, color harmony, focal points, composition, perspective, and color mixing — including how to create lighter or darker shades from saturated tones.

Each lesson lasts 1 hour 30 minutes, with a short break. You can choose convenient days and times in the schedule — attend once, twice, or three times a week. Every class offers a new project.

Our main goal is to nurture creativity without criticism. We never compare children’s works — every student receives personal attention and keeps their individual style while gaining practical skills in working with paints, brushes, pencils, colors, and various techniques.
After our classes, your child will feel confident, inspired, and proud of their abilities.

Преподаватель Мария Братус объясняет технику рисунка в ArtMaailm

Maria Bratus

Maria’s artistic journey began at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow, where she received her initial art education.
After moving to Estonia, she continued studying in the studio of Kersti Linnamägi, a teacher at the Estonian Academy of Arts.

In addition to her artistic background, Maria holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and wrote her thesis on art therapy.
This knowledge helps her better understand children — their moods, needs, and developmental stages.
As a teacher, Maria aims not only to introduce students to various painting techniques, but also to help them find their own artistic voice through creativity.

She believes that art is a wonderful way to experience beauty and harmony, to express one’s emotions and imagination.
In her classes, Maria creates a warm, supportive atmosphere where children can explore, play with colors and materials, celebrate unexpected discoveries, and open their own world of creativity.

”Creativity is a path to yourself and to the world around you.”

My husband built a second floor just so I could paint there!
My family supports me, but secretly they’re waiting for the moment I run out of money for art classes — and I stubbornly keep going into debt for them 😂
Anyway, everything is wonderful — my husband built the second floor, and I paint there. Life is good!

My family and friends are shocked by my new hobby 😄 They always wait eagerly for my new works, praise me, and see how important this has become in my life.
They often ask, “Why didn’t you go to an art school earlier?”
Of course, my friends already want some of my “masterpieces” as gifts (there’s practically a waiting list!), but I’m not ready yet — still have a lot to learn.

I liked it — definitely recommend!
But let me say this right away: five lessons are not enough at all!
I’m the kind of person who wants everything explained from start to finish 😄

This is my fourth art school for adults.
I can’t say that one was better or worse than another, BUT… here at Artmaailm there’s a very special atmosphere — warm and open.
From the very first day, I felt at home here. Never once did I feel like a newcomer or a stranger.
Dear teachers, you know how IMPORTANT it is for a new, often uncertain student to feel that there’s a steady hand nearby — and a brush extended in welcome.
Thank you to our artists for sharing not only your knowledge, but also a piece of your heart!

Art Camps

Duration: 5 days

Art Camps – Autumn, Winter, Spring & Summer

Every day, children dive into the world of art, exploring different techniques and materials — paints, pencils, pastels, markers, and more.
We don’t just draw — we learn to see beauty in everything around us: in nature, in works of art, and in everyday life.

During classes, children study the basics of painting — line, shape, color, composition, and space.

Some lessons take place outdoors — walks in Kadriorg Park become a source of inspiration and new creative ideas.

Classes are held in our cozy studio at Poska 5, where imagination and freedom of expression are always encouraged.

The goal of the camp is to uncover each child’s creative potential, develop imagination, and help them express emotions and feelings through art.
We introduce children to different art movements and styles, teach them to appreciate beauty, and nurture their aesthetic sense. Every day is filled with fun games, creative tasks, new discoveries, and inspiration!

The number of spots in each session is limited, so we recommend registering in advance.

Follow our camp schedule on Facebook and Instagram.

General Terms and Internal Rules

General Terms

The Art Club operates according to the schedule of the current academic year.
Students are expected to follow the timetable for their course, arrive 5–10 minutes before class begins, and leave within 10 minutes after it ends.
The club provides all tools and materials for children, except for personal clothing and footwear.
For adult art classes, materials are not included in the course price.
Copyrights for artworks belong to the students themselves.
The student agrees that the learning process and completed artworks may be displayed in the studio or at other exhibition venues, as well as published on the club’s website, Facebook, and Instagram.
Artworks may be digitized for the club’s archive and a copy provided to the student.
The participant agrees to the Privacy Policy of the club.
During the learning process, the club stores personal data (student’s name, name and surname of the legal representative, phone number, postal and email address), as well as information about requests and purchases.
All collected data are considered confidential and processed in accordance with applicable legislation, in order to improve course planning, analyze interests, and provide participants with relevant offers.
The club does not share personal data with third parties.
If a student misses a class due to illness, they may, subject to availability, attend another suitable class from the schedule, including adult groups. Advance notice is required for such make-up classes.
If a class is cancelled (due to teacher illness or other unforeseen circumstances), the student has the right to attend another class during the current academic year, or, by agreement, at another time.
The participant or legal representative must inform the club of any special needs (e.g., food allergies).
In case of emergency restrictions, in-person classes may be replaced by online or distance lessons.
To terminate the agreement, please notify us by email or phone:

Internal Rules

An agreement is concluded between the participant (or the legal representative of the child) and the Artmaailm Art Studio.
Children under the age of 7 must arrive and leave the class accompanied by an adult.
Each lesson begins with an introductory part, which is an important component of the class.
If you are going to be late, please inform the teacher in advance.
It is recommended to arrive 5–10 minutes before the lesson starts to prepare the child — put on an apron, change into indoor shoes, and use the restroom if needed — so other children don’t have to wait.
Please respect the lesson end time, so the teacher has time to prepare materials and equipment for the next class.
During lessons, children are expected to behave politely and respectfully toward classmates and the teacher, showing kindness and friendliness.
In case of inappropriate behavior, staff members have the right to remove the student from the class.
We maintain cleanliness and order, and treat all studio property with care.
Students are expected to listen to and follow the teacher’s instructions regarding tasks and behavior during the lesson.
Once the parent arrives to pick up the child, the parent assumes full responsibility for the child.
Both the child and the accompanying adult must inform the teacher before leaving.
If someone other than the parent (e.g., another adult) is picking up the child, the teacher must be notified in advance.
A sick child may feel unwell during the lesson and could infect others.
Children showing clear signs of illness (rash, fever, conjunctivitis, runny nose, cough, etc.) cannot attend classes.
Children should also stay home if they are taking medication or if outdoor activities are not recommended.
Teachers do not administer medication and do not allow children to take it independently.
If a child feels unwell during class, we immediately inform the parents and ask them to pick up the child.
We provide aprons to help protect clothing, but please keep in mind that paints and materials may leave permanent stains.
For advice or assistance, we recommend contacting us by email, as the teacher may not always have time for a long discussion.
We also welcome feedback and suggestions from parents.
